So, it's been quite some time since I last poked my head into the blogosphere, specifically in the KH page.

Thank God, things have been crazy busy in the six months or so since I married my beautiful wife, and I can't stop thanking the One Above for His benevolence.

Among other things, we realized that we'd need a larger place pretty soon; we had really been looking since before the wedding, but nothing had caught our eye or worked out, until this past summer. After all the back and forth and extensive paperwork, we finally settled and closed on a wonderful little townhouse in Passaic, and I have been pleasantly surprised at the warmth our new neighbors - and anyone else who realized we were new - have shown us.

For me, it's quite reminiscent of Cleveland. For my wife, it's a very new experience...

A little kindness to a new neighbor goes a very long way towards their acclimation; you don't have to cook 'em a dish or bake a cake - just the offer to help in any way to ease the transition? It helps in so many ways.

Thanks people of Passaic!

Yay!! You're back, you're back!!

Hope you're enjoying married life...

So glad things are working out! And I agree - Passaic is a really wonderful place :)

Passaic is where my father's family first lived when they moved to America - admittedly, nicer now than it was then, but he remembers it just the way you are describing. Glad you are experiencing warmth there :)
