The Seat of Kindness

I was on the bus for a LONG time this morning. There was traffic and traffic and traffic. We had to take an alternate route and then more traffic. The bus was overfull- there was not enough seats for everyone, so there were a few people standing in the aisle for the entire, extremely long ride. One of the people standing was a woman. A little while into the ride, when it was obvious that we were not going to be arriving at our destination any time soon, I noticed a man getting up from his seat. He got up, moved all his things, and gave his seat to the woman standing in the aisle. The woman was very thankful. I guess chivalry is not dead.
