Kindness on the Bus

Guest post from Diana

The other morning I was reading on the bus on my way to work. The overhead lights were off because most of the other people on the bus were snoozing. After ¾ of the way through the Queens Midtown Tunnel (which is sporadically lit), I looked up because the overhead lights had been turned on. The smiling bus driver looked over at me and said “Why didn’t you tell me you were reading?”
